Walnut Creek Park

Walnut Creek Park is located in southern Albemarle County, Virginia, and is run by the Albemarle County Parks and Recreation Department The park is surrounded by mountainous terrain, open fields, and the beautiful spring-fed Walnut Creek Lake. This course was the club's first course built in 2002.

Layout: 18-hole course with 2 artificial turf tees and 2 Discraft Chainstar baskets on each hole.

Hours: The park is open from 7am to sunset throughout the year.

Fees: A $5 admission fee is charged at the main gate from Memorial Day through Labor Day.

Parking: Two large lots at the end of the road into the park.

Greene County Park

The Greene County Community Park is located in Greene County, Virginia, and is run by the Greene County Parks and Recreation Department. This beautiful course offers a variety of holes through fields and woods. The park offers many experiences for outdoor recreation including a playground, walking trails, soccer fields, a picnic shelter, restroom facilities, and plenty of parking. The original course was built in 2004 and was then redesigned in 2010. In 2012, the club added artificial turf-covered tees. In 2022, the course was again redesigned into a new 9-hole layout with improved tee pads and continues to grow and evolve as local players have taken it under their wing.

Layout: 9-hole course with 2 tees (1 artificial turf and 1 natural) and 1 Innova Discatcher basket on each hole.

Hours: The park is open during daylight hours throughout the year.

Fees: None

Parking: Gravel lot at the end of the road into the park.

MeadowCreek Gardens

The Blue Ridge Disc Golf Club completed a new 9-hole course in August 2015. The course is built on land behind the English Inn next to community gardens and along the Rivanna Trail. The BRDGC has been working in cooperation with the Charlottesville Parks & Recreation Department and appreciates all their support to bring this sport to the City of Charlottesville.

Layout: 9-hole course with 2 artificial turf-covered concrete tees and 2 Innova Discatcher baskets on each hole.

Hours: The park is open during daylight hours throughout the year.

Fees: None

Parking: Small gravel lots next to tee #1 and around the corner next to tee #2.

Chris Greene Lake

The Blue Ridge Disc Golf Club constructed a new 18-basket course at Chris Greene Lake Park in Albemarle County, which opened for play in April 2023. Built to contend with the most difficult courses in the area, CGL will prove to be a challenge to players of all levels. Bring plenty of water, high expectations, and your hiking legs. (Note: UDisc is recommended for navigating your first visit.)

Layout: 18-hole course with 1 artificial turf tee and 1 MVP Black Hole Portal basket on each hole.

Hours: The park is open during daylight hours throughout the year.

Fees: A $5 admission fee is charged at the main gate from Memorial Day through Labor Day. 

Parking: Small lot next to the entrance gate. Tee #1 is across the street.
